ITIL V3 Certification

Since its inception, ITIL has become a world-wide de facto standard for best practices in IT service management. An organization that has implemented ITIL guidance in ITSM may be able to achieve compliance with and seek certification under ISO/IEC 20000. The ITIL Toolkit is a collection of resources brought together specifially to accompany ITIL.

The Service Level Manager relies on all the other areas of the Service Delivery process to provide the necessary support which ensures the agreed services are provided in a cost effective, secure and efficient manner. The approach taken to ensure quality on the project is agreed together with the overall approach to controlling the project itself (project controls). ITIL V3 Certification The positive aspect is that PRINCE2 can be tailored to the needs of a particular project.

The plan defines the actions necessary to prevent, detect, and mitigate the effects of potential disasters. The ITSCM policy is the bought into and formalized plan to influence and determine decisions, actions, and other matters regarding IT continuity.

Ensuring that the agreed IT services are delivered when and where they are supposed to be is of vital importance.
